Out of a pool of 238 applicants, we have meticulously selected 28 dedicated volunteers and trainees to join our esteemed writing and editing team. This comprehensive training and volunteer program is structured into two cohorts, each consisting of 14 writers.

Spanning a duration of three months, both cohorts will undergo intensive training focused on various aspects including interviewing techniques, crafting compelling first-person narratives, refining editing skills, and fostering an understanding of diverse voices.

At its core, this program is designed to provide aspiring writers with a unique opportunity to delve into the intricacies of queer lives while actively engaging with and amplifying their voices.

I focus on The Queer Community, delve into our culture, and advocate for our rights through my writing.

As a cinephile, I have a deep love for stories. Stories are powerful tools that inspire us to live our lives to the fullest and guide us through the journey of life. They help us develop qualities such as persistence, determination, and empathy towards others. This is why I am passionate about interactive mediums where individuals can connect, share their experiences and empower each other. My strengths lie in communication, understanding, and management.

Nidhi is a Malayali from Bangalore currently navigating her way through law school in the National Law University, Delhi. Slowly learning the nuances of adulting is not fun at all, but at least there’s growth, and maybe somewhere along the way, she hopes to find her purpose. She loves meeting new people, hearing new stories and actively tries to be a good listener. In her free time, she enjoys blasting Taylor Swift and watching predictable and trashy (and weirdly comforting) movies and shows.

A passionate psychology student, an ardent writer, listener and reader. Balancing my love of writing with a soft spot for cats – because nothing beats the purr of inspiration! I'm also dedicated to promoting mental health awareness and fostering a supportive environment for Queer individuals to freely communicate. The power of narratives unites people, and I eagerly anticipate the opportunity to share more stories.

Annanya is a student of English literature in Ramjas College, University of Delhi. She enjoys literature, vintage cinema, sapphic cinema and warm cup of coffee on rainy days. She is a passionate advocate for LGBTQ+ rights and intersectional feminism.

She’s happy, yellow sunflower energy who’s a professional silly goose. Always found laughing at the most random things, the queen of bonding with people over cat memes! She loves colours, art and doing clownery to make people around her laugh.
