"Dekh na, tera bhai kya-kya bol raha hai," said my mother to bhaiya when I came out to her.

"Dekh na, tera bhai kya-kya bol raha hai," said my mother to bhaiya when I came out to her. To my surprise, he stood up for me and said, "Yeh uske upar depend karta hai ki usko apni zindagi ke decisions kaise leni hain. Usse uske hisab se jeene do."

I wasn't sure about my gender until I was 18. After going to college, I figured out my identity, and coming out to my family was a big step. At first, it took them some time to accept it, but today I live freely as a woman with them.

I started transitioning as a woman in college, and everyone was so curious about what I was doing. Despite the stress, I remained dedicated to my studies. It was a challenging period, but I stayed focused on my academic goals.

I discussed my situation with the college principal and successfully resumed my academic journey. I'm now fully committed to my studies, determined to excel academically and prove myself.

In my opinion, being trans isn't just about wearing a saree or bindi. To live your life freely and survive as a woman, you have to get stable and financially independent. Focus on your studies and prove yourself to change people's point of view about trans women.

The journey hasn't been easy, but I'm grateful for the love and acceptance I've received from those around me.
